Year End – Bring, Braai & Socialise

Dear Members,

It’s amazing to think that the year is nearly at an end, and what a year it has been!

Thank you once again for your support of Waterberg Tourism and all you have done to help us market tourism to the Waterberg.

To end off the year (but not all the ongoing work), we would love to invite you to join us for an information session, and bring and braai on 28 November 2019.

We have invited two great speakers to provide some invaluable information:

Heather Nel has been an accredited quality assessor with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa for 10 years and will speak on star grading and quality assurance.

A great opportunity for anyone who wants to find out more on the importance of quality assurance, how star grading works, what it costs and if star grading is relevant to our domestic and international tour operators and visitors.

Liselette Laubser from Keystone Human Capital will then speak to us on important labour law issues pertaining to the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as how to handle labour issues and CCMA cases in the tourism industry correctly.  Our industry faces various challenges when it comes to labour and this is perfect for members to find out how to treat staff legally, fairly, and at the same time avoid issues escalating to the CCMA.

After the information session, we will then braai together and have a chance to catch up, network and socialise before the end-year high season takes over.

Waterberg Tourism will provide fires and side dishes; there will also be a cash bar available.

We’re looking forward to enjoying your company as we close off 2019 and boldly face 2020!

See you there!
