In celebration of World Book Day, Save the Waterberg Rhino, Waterberg Tourism, and Waterberg Living Museum are teaming up to organise a local book collection with the books being given to local schools to help stock libraries.
We are asking for any unwanted books. We all have books that are not used any more and just sitting on shelves collecting dust. These books could have a better home helping kids learn to read or reading to learn. For anyone who would like to participate but can’t drop off a book we are also collecting funds that will be used to buy books in the categories such as early learning reading. This can be done through Save The Waterberg Rhino donate page https://waterbergrhino.com/donate/ reference “books”. World Book Day was 23rd of April but we will be collecting books until the 30th May 2021. Book drop off points are at the Farmers Hall (opposite corner to Spar) in Vaalwater and the Waterberg Living Museum. Thank you in advance for your support.
