TREES: E-Bahiti comprises 2 distinct vegetation units namely Central Sandy Bushveld & Waterberg Mountain Bushveld. Because of the 2 vegetation units you will find a tree species list of 75 different indigenous trees and shrubs, indeed the perfect place for “Tree Spotting”, and all of this within walking distance from the Camp !!

BIRDS & FISH: The Waterberg Mountain Range is home to over 400 different bird species, including some 43 threatened species. Because of the 2 distinct vegetation units, and various habitat types within those units, you can spend your whole week-end, or even holiday, right here, enjoying excellent bird watching …. or teach the little ones how to fish in the dam below the camp (catch & release method).

GAME & ANIMALS: There are numerous plains game species on E-Bahiti like Giraffe, Zebra, Bluewildebeest, Impala & Kudu and you can drive, walk or even cycle anywhere on the Reserve looking for game with your children. Life in camp is really relaxed and you will find some farm animals like ponies, goats and sheep, as well as blesbok, nyala and sable roaming the camping grounds.
Because E-Bahiti is a pet friendly Game Reserve, we request that you please just ensure that your dog does not disturb the animals, or other campers.

ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA: The Waterberg is one of the undiscovered tourist destinations in SA and within a 50 – 70km radius around E-Bahiti you will find an array of activities and places to visit, including: various restaurants, a beer brewery, coffee shops, bakeries, a knife making factory, pottery classes, cycling tracks,
zipline, boat rides & fishing trips, special luxury photographic hides, night sky safaris, small mammal safaris, predator parks & big 5 game drives, to name a few.
