Geluksfontein Private Game Lodge

The lodge is 3 hours from Johannesburg. The lodge is situated in the Waterberg in a bush setting with various roaming wildlife and an abundant variety of bird life for you to enjoy specially in summertime.

We even have our own landing strip should you wish to fly in to the lodge. 

Geluksfontein farm has numerous nerve racking 4 x 4 routes well known as the Melkrivier route. Up and down gorges in the natural habitat of kudu, blue wildebeest, zebras, waterbuck, giraffes and more.

All routes are rated with GPS coordinates. During rainy seasons a natural rock pool and waterfall can be found on one of the selected 4 x 4 routes or game drives.

Activities at the lodge:

• Infinity swimming pool with bar area.
• Dam and river for fishing(own fishing gear required)
• Enjoy a sundowner on the deck, overlooking the dam.
• Game drives and sundowner drives (pre book game drive – no self drives)
• Bush walks – game and bird viewing.
• Jungle gym and swings for children.
• Mountain biking (own bikes and helmets a must)

The lodge is self catering with 11 en-suite chalets. Air conditioning and fully equipped. Wi-fi is available as well as DSTV.
