Two young local community members in Vaalwater have come together to form Waterberg Workzone. They are Joshua Mabetwa and Taryn Lockhart and their recruitment company will be doing both temporary and permanent recruitment placing. They will be specialising in the hospitality industry and hope to service the local game lodges and farms with local, experienced staff.
Many exciting things are happening in Vaalwater since Waterberg Tourism was launched five months ago by Mayor Marlene van Staden.
More than four hundred lodges, activities and businesses have added their details to the data base. “We are hoping that number will increase to more than one thousand” says John Bufton of PC Doctor who developed this sophisticated product.
Waterberg Tourism is registered as a non-profit corporation for the inclusion of all stakeholders. Waterberg Tourism is seeking only to serve its members by competitively marketing the Waterberg area as an outstanding tourism destination, to local and international tourists.
